In my landscape paintings, my objective is to capture that "magic" of art through an original vision. The subject matter is based on familiar scenes or places that have meaning but often evolve into a place that only exists in my head. My sea scape paintings, the simplicity of the horizon is a cause of contemplation in itself: but the contrast of the ocean and sky changing in their own individual ways set a deeper and more complex stage for expressing my feelings.
